When used with Leviton's Access Control Reader, the Electric Door Strike securely locks and unlocks a door without the need of a key. It allows the door to be locked when closed, but can be automatically locked/unlocked by the automation system, or can still be manually locked/unlocked with a key. 

The 12 VDC Electric Door Strike is a Fail-Secure device, which means the door unlocks when power is connected (i.e. the door is locked when power fails). 

Requires an Ethernet-enabled Leviton Omni or Lumina automation controller with firmware version 3.0 or higher.
