Lumina Energy Management System

A Lumina Pro or Lumina automation system provides comprehensive energy management and sophisticated lighting control to both homes and small commercial buildings that is easy to control. The Lumina systems have similar features as the Leviton Omni security & automation systems but lack built-in security systems. They may be tied into a supported third party security system if desired. Use built-in OmniTouch touchscreens or mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones to control the property.

LUMINA PRO AND LUMINA COMPARISON 

The Lumina family of control systems consists of the Lumina Pro and Lumina. The number of thermostats and rooms and lights that you wish to control will usually determine which Lumina control system you need to buy. The Lumina Pro automation system controls 31 rooms (256 lighting loads) while the Lumina supports 8 rooms (64 lighting loads).

The primary focus of this automation system is to save money with sophisticated lighting control. Your Leviton system can turn off lights, water heaters, pumps, and other high-draw energy consuming devices when you're not present. By controlling temperature and lighting based on time of day or occupancy, Leviton products can reduce your energy costs. Leviton systems can automatically set lights to 90%, saving you money every time a light is turned on.

The Lumina lets users quickly make adjustments throughout the entire home or business with just one button push using mode settings like Away, Sleep, Home, Vacation, Special, and Party. Vacation mode allows the lights to change periodically for a lived-in look and can automate fountains, pumps, motors, fans, and more to ensure an active environment.

LIGHTING: 
Enjoy the benefits of a sophisticated lighting control system by setting scenes, fades, and dimming levels. You can easily set elegant lighting scenes for each room or for the whole house, without the use of complicated software programs or the need to rewire your home. Just touch one button to turn every light in a room or whole house on or off. Utilize one of Leviton's communicating lines like Vizia RF, UPB, or Omni-Bus, or integrate with nearly a dozen other manufacturers including both Z-Wave and ZigBee devices.

TEMPERATURE & ENERGY MANAGEMENT: 
With the Omnistat2 Thermostats you may control your home's temperatures through your OmniPro II system by schedule and activity - such as alarm status, room occupancy, or outdoor temperature. Load Control Modules allow for automated control of pool pumps, fountains, electric water heaters, and other high-draw devices.

Temperature and humidity sensors allow for temperature-based programming of events in your OmniPro II. The temperature may be used to activate programs for controlling temperatures in attics, garages, greenhouses, basements, wine cellars, coolers, etc.

By using a telephone or one of Leviton's optional Internet control software packages you can warm up or cool down the house after a vacation, check on temperatures, and save energy.

SAFETY AND SECURITY 
The Lumina Pro and Lumina automation systems can control wireless ZigBee and Z-Wave devices to incorporate wireless door locks from several manufacturers. Use your smartphone to open a door remotely for a contractor or maid service. Automatically lock all doors at a certain time each night. Additionally, Lumina systems can incorporate Leviton's hard-wired access control card readers for areas with higher security needs like wine cellars, pools, networking closets, or humidors. 

IP Camera surveillance footage can be viewed on Touchscreens, smartphones and tablets to keep a watchful eye on driveways and front doors from anywhere in the world. Additionally, Lumina Pro automation systems can integrate with supported DSC PowerSeries alarm panels.

CONTROL YOUR ENTERTAINMENT 
The Lumina and Lumina Pro controllers both integrate with Leviton's Hi-Fi 2 distributed audio systems and the Lumina Pro can tie into systems from several other third party audio manufacturers. Coordinate your music with your daily activities: mute bedroom and outdoor zones at a certain time automatically or gently ramp up audio each morning for a peaceful awakening. The Lumina Pro can even make announcements throughout the house utilizing built-in audio speakers throughout the property, muting active audio zones so everyone can hear the announcement.
